SUNY Maritime

SUNY Maritime College is the United States’ oldest and largest maritime college offering eleven undergraduate majors, including five ABET-accreditation engineering programs and two master's degree programs, its distinctive hands-on approach to education prepares students for career success.

Keen to upgrade to Drupal 8 on Acquia Cloud Platform, the school initiated sought a qualified vendor to plan, execute, and deliver an engaging and timely platform that would resolve the site’s challenges and advance a new online communication and marketing strategy.

As specified in the RFP, this project held to four phases. Phase one included design and theme of forty main pages complete with workflows, user roles and permission structures to best suit the needs of staff; Phase two involved stakeholder approval, including school administration web and marketing team. Phase three, third-party integration and full migration; Phase four, training, knowledge transfer, and documentation.
